Description

humiFog is a high-pressure humidifier designed for duct distribution in large spaces. The process atomises water particles through nozzles, which are directly absorbed by the airflow inside the air duct. humiFog offers modulating or on/off humidity control via an internal sensor or alternatively through an external signal via Modbus RTU. The solution is also suitable for both direct and indirect temperature control during summer operation when adiabatic cooling is required.

humiFog is available as a master and sub-unit and can therefore serve up to six independent zones with one master unit. The units are equipped with distribution manifolds that, through nozzles, improve the absorption of atomised water. The dimensions and capacity of the air distribution system are customised at the factory according to the order requirements and optimised for the intended application.

The product is equipped with a flexible controller and display with user-friendly menus. It can operate as a stand-alone system or be connected to a higher-level control system, such as a BMS. The product controller maintains a high level of relative humidity control in humidified areas, allowing the spaces to fully benefit from natural evaporative cooling. This makes the solution suitable for machine-intensive environments, such as production facilities and other industrial applications. The unit is hygiene-certified according to EN 13779, VDI 6022 and VDI 3803, making it suitable for hospitals and cleanroom environments.

 

humiFog is suitable for:

Accessories
The product can be complemented with a wide range of accessories, such as a distribution fan for direct room humidification, WTS (water treatment system), external temperature, humidity, air quality or combined sensors (temperature and humidity) for room installation. Installation

The product consists of several units: a master control cabinet containing a variable-speed pump and controller, a stainless-steel distribution manifold with nozzles, and a droplet separator. The control cabinet is also available in a sub-unit version without a pump. To ensure correct functionality, the unit should be connected to a water treatment system, WTS (available as a separate option), which demineralises the water through reverse osmosis. Direct connection to the existing water supply is not recommended. Components required for connection to the water supply are not included in the delivery. Operation / Maintenance
Integrated functions such as automatic periodic flushing cycles and water drainage, combined with high-quality components, contribute to reliable operation and simplified maintenance. The product should be complemented with a water treatment system (WTS) for efficient operation and easier maintenance. For additional disinfection properties, the unit can be equipped with UV lighting. The service interval depends directly on the quality of the supply water and the operating time of the unit. Maintenance must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
