The unit is ideal for humidification in process environments with high hygiene requirements and the need for continuous operation without maintenance interruptions, such as food processing, wood, paper and printing production, as well as healthcare and comfort applications.

Steam is generated by a fully immersed heating element. Solid-state relays controlled by a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) system, together with the integrated humidity or temperature controller, regulate the heat supplied to the water, ensuring precise control of the steam output.

The heating elements are manufactured from corrosion-resistant Incoloy® 825 and incorporate an integrated PTC thermistor for overtemperature protection, ensuring maximum operational reliability. These features make the humidifier independent of the supply water quality while achieving extremely high control accuracy (±1% RH from setpoint).

Steam production can be controlled either by on/off operation or by modulating control via a potentiometer-based sensor (humidistat) or another external control signal. Steam is distributed either through steam distribution pipes in the ventilation duct or by means of a fan unit, which can be mounted directly on top of the humidifier or installed separately on a wall.

Operation is generally independent of water quality. The product can therefore be connected to a standard water supply or, where required, to demineralised water to minimise the need for periodic cleaning.
