Description

ultimateSAM (Short Absorption Manifold) is a ducted steam distributor, suitable for both pressurised steam (0.01–4 barg) and atmospheric pressure). The special air-cushion thermal insulation reduces heat transfer to the air in the duct, thus minimising losses due to condensation.

ultimateSAM is sized to measure based on the steam flow-rate and the dimensions of the duct, so as to uniformly distribute steam without dripping and minimise the absorption distance.

All metal parts are made from AISI 304 stainless steel, guaranteeing hygiene
and a long working life. It is supplied with a vast choice of steam valves with
electric actuators for modulating the flow-rate.

The range includes multi-pipe models for flow-rates from 15 to 1110 kg/h and
single-pipe SA0* models with flow-rates from 20 to 140 kg/h.

Pipe spacing differs depending on duct size and required absorption distance.


• ultimateSAM is installed in ventilation ducts or air handling units (AHUs) and is sized according to the duct dimensions and required steam capacity.

• For optimum performance, the unit must be installed in accordance with the specified straight duct requirements and connected to the humidifier using steam and condensate piping.
